Qualifications 1. Hands-on experience with production programming in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Typescript, Java or C++. 2. Experience with Terraform, Github CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes. 3. Good knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, cloud computing patterns. 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and be collaborative. 5. Experience with monitoring / observability systems, such as prometheus & grafana, is a bonus, but not required. 6. Full stack experience on frontend development is a bonus, but not required. 7. Experience with metering / billing is a bonus, but not required.
Responsibilities As a software engineer you will be responsible for building Suger’s core products and architecture. You will ship features that will be immediately used by our users, and will work with a tight-knit team that values open communication and cross-functional collaboration. We move quickly to solve a wide range of complex technical and product challenges. While we are an experienced team that can provide constant guidance and mentorship, we value engineers who can autonomously scope and solve difficult technical challenges.You'll take full ownership of Suger's backend infrastructure & services, optimizing for scalability, availability, reliability, maintainability and performance.
